Scanjet 2400C how to isntall it??

Hi i have the above mentioned scanner and i can't install it. When i run Kooka it only shows my pinnacle PCTV pro. I run in konsole mode lsusb and here are the results:
Bus 005 Device 006: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
Bus 005 Device 003: ID 0409:0059 NEC Corp. HighSpeed Hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 03f0:6004 Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 5550
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 045e:0039 Microsoft Corp. IntelliMouse Optical
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 03f0:0a01 Hewlett-Packard
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

I believe that Bus 003 Device 003 is my scanner. How i am going to install it?
And something else is there a program for watching TV, including the Remote Control or i am asking too much?
