    USB Dial up modem

My sisters Windoze Pc just crashed and is in need of a format.
I would like to install Feisty, but fear that I may not be able to get her USB dial up modem to work. ( I am still an apprentice with linux, but learning fast)
Has USB support improved in Feisty or is it still a lot of mucking around, other wise it's windoze again. grrrrrrrrrrr

Hi disregard, her Pc is a only 333Mhz, After trying to install fiesty it just hangs, took 15 mins just to get past the splash page.
I reinstalled Win 98 it installed fast, it seems to be all her pc is capable of running.
      She's going to update later.

How about DSL, Puppy or - at most - Debian 4.0 feat. Xfce then?

Me thinks let her get a new PC, with Vista installed, then when she has problems, Nuke it and install KUBUNTU

Or just install Kubuntu to begin with...
            For external use only.
