After going over a dozen how tos for Kubuntu and plain generic instructions I cannot get SANED to work on my network. I have a followed the guidlines on this forum for the setup of the Brother MFC-210C. I have the printer share working fine and when I bring up Kooka or Xsane they both see the scanner in the network but neither will access it.
I have 4 computers on my network 3 running Kubuntu and one running Windoze. (Trust me its not mine.) I simply want to share the scanner among them but I can't seem to get SANED configured correctly.
The local host the printer/scanner is connected to has no problem with the scanner.
