Laptop battery stuck at 50% charging

Hi everyone. I`m on Asus F3Ja laptop. After upgrade from Edgy to Feisty everything works fine - even more, but one thing is keeping me worried. It`s the laptop battery. Power Manager says it`s 49-50% - BUT FULLY CHARGED!?

Whats that? It just cannot be fully charged and be on 50% only

This is just a thought...
most laptops have the ability to pull out the CD-ROM and insert a 2nd battery. Maybe one battery is 50%?
Do you experience shorter working time? If so, one part of the battery maybe dead.
Is it a dual boot and under windows it shows 100%? That would support my first thought.
