No sound with ALI 5451 Chipset on Toshiba Satellite S1800-504

Hi there,

I am new to linux and installed today Kubuntu 7.04 on my notebook.

All HW components were recognized, but no sound available...

Any hints?

Here are some additional infos to my sound problem

On booting from the 7.04 CD I get following error message: ALI15X3 not detected, module not inserted

In addition I performed following steps without any success:

@Satellite:~$ aplay -l
