Small issue with video section of system settings

I have a Geforce Go 6150 on my laptop. I installed the proprietary driver and everything seems to be OK, but the monitor and display section shows my card as nv and driver nvidia. So I know that the 3d driver is turned on, but if I configure it to see a geforce 6000 series I get a message that the configuration is not testable and the card goes back to nv.

My question is, is this something to be concerned about? I am going to be running a few games in wine and don't want to have to worry about no 3d support. Thanks

I suggest that you install nvidia-settings and nvidia-xconfig and use them to configure the card.
