I have two DVD-roms:
One DVD-RW
and other just DVD-rom...
Whenever I put DVD5 or DVD9 into DVD-RW drive.... everything works fine. Kaffeine or anyother play the movie..
But when I insert the DVD into my second drive (simple DVD-rom)..... DVD is not even recognized...
Linux not ever do this auto-run thing.. Where you have option to choose if you want to open DVD or play it with something.
BUT... Both drives play CDs... (music and such)
I don't know what can be wrong.
I used to have Kubuntu before and both drives worked fine... And like in Windows.. both DVD-roms work fine....
Maybe there some drivers or lib files I missing?
