    Battery Monitor

I am running feisty fawn on my laptop which is really good. It is far more responsive than it used to be. There is one problem which I am still experiencing (I experienced this in previous versions) which is that the battery moniter doesn't detect my battery. Looking at the power control settings tells me I don't have kernel modules loaded but when I list the modules running battery is one of them. Could someone offer some advice?

It is a Hi-Grade Notino and based on X86 processor. Most of the components are made by VIA.
