When I install it it seems very laggy. The icons are sluggish. I'm not sure if it's because I still have the transparent bar where programs go is still there. I have a 3 Ghz P4 with 2 gigs of ram. I allocated tons of space for swap and stuff but I'm not sure what I should I do? Should i remove the toolbar down there completely or what? Thanks in advance.

I have trouble with anything from Karamba.
Something you might check is if your video card is installed to properly support 3D
You'll get a bunch of gibberish, but if scroll back up to the top of the output is should say:Code:glxinfo
direct rendering = Yes
You might want to try Kooldock, it seems to use a lot less resources than the other dock bars I tried, much faster than KXDocker for instance. It's in the package manager and is very easy to configure with a right click of the mouse.
