How does one save Thunderbird addresses to Evolution ?

I am really getting disapointed in Thunderbird for the last year or so. I have Thunderbird installed in three different Linux distros and it is slow, slow, slow in all three distros, and on different computers also.

I have a huge address book as I use it for business and home. How does one go about importing Thunderbird addresses into Evolution ?

I'm not sure about Evolution but most email programs have a import/export function to transfer contacts and mail. Try Kmail, I use it and it does have this function.

Look under tools for this option.
    ~$sudo make me a sandwich

This should tell you how to export thunderbird addressbook

Also I agree with giving Kmail a try, it has plenty of features that you can check out here

And here is something that might help you make your decision.
