    Display isn't going right..

I recently installed Kubunto 6.06 and it's stuck at a low resolution. There is nothing for 1600 by 1200 which is what I want. I have a NEC MultiSync LCD 2080UX monitor and it's natural state is 1600 by 1200 but ever installed I couldn't get it to change. My video card is NVidia GeForce FX5900 Ultra. Also sound doesn't work. I have a Creative SB audigy 2.

I'm new to Linux so please try to explain the best you can. I think I need programs to install the drivers if there are any for Linux but I hope so. Thanks in advance!

Right, first thing is to get your monitor sorted out, go to the K button, system settings, monitor & Display

You'll need to click on Administration mode and enter your password

Then go to the hardware tab and press the configure button next to your monitor - i checked under NEC, the option should be there (i'm using Edgy 6.10) x
