Recent Documents And Mostly Used Applications in KMenue

Hi folks
i am kubntu 6.06 user with KDE 3.5.5. there was a feature in KMenu by which Recent Documents could be added in it so the recently opened files could be opened again and another feature by which most commonly used application were added in it...
how can i add this thing
or i am forgetting and this is only in windows xp's start menu .

right-click on the panel -> Configure Panel -> Menus option -> Check/Enable the "Recent Documents" option in the Optional Menus section, then in the QuickStart Menu items, select "Show the applications most frequently used" and set the Maximum number of entries to something you like.
