    My Public Key - GPG error

    Hello everyone.



    I have an error I need help with, plus I want to know if I can use my Public Key with my mail and where others are to retrieve it. I have KDE 3.5.5 in Dapper. Here is my error:

    W: GPG error: http://mirror.noreply.org dapper Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY CFF71CB3AFA44BDD
    W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

    sudo apt-get update did not resolve the issue.

    You may have a look at this thread (scan for "signatures", ignore the Kanotix stuff).

        This is not correct, as one can learn from chapter 7.4.3.4 of the Securing Debian Manual.

          My bad. I'll read that when I have a few hours or so.

          In the meanwhile, if anyone knows what command I can type into the konsole to update my http://mirror.noreply.org dapper Release gpg key, I would deeply appreciate it.

            Finally found the problem, and this would apply to anyone running Tor. The Tor update is to 'noreply', and I would imagine that anyone running the latest version would have this same issue. No resolve. They do not provide a key.
