Audacity stops working -- solution

Hello

Ok all of a sudden Audacity gives you this annoying message that it can't access the audio layer or something like that. You have tried
sudo killall esd

to no avail

go to adept package manager, select Audacity and click on reinstall.

Audacity might work this time.
It did for me.
