    Make programs start at boot

There are a couple of programs I'd like to start every time Iboot, including Kmix and Katapult. Is there a way to make this happen?

    Two ways:

    1. Set the Session Manager to Restore from previous session (check in System Settings for the exact location of this setting) and leave those apps running when you logout. They will be started again when you login. This is the default behavior in Kubuntu, btw.

    2. If you don't want to do #1, make a link to KMix and Katapult in the ~/.kde/Autostart forlder. Basically you go into /usr/bin, look for kmix and katapult, drag-and-drop them into ~/.kde/Autostart, and select "Link to" from the the pop-up box that comes out.
