I cannot get the built in Konqueror ftp working for a particular site. I cannot get Kasablanca working. I can get gFTP and Kftpgrabber to work.
I want to use the built in ftp. This site apparently does not like passive. I have to uncheck that in gFTP. Kftpgrabber seems to figure that out on it's own. I've gone into settings/internet/connections and unclicked passive mode. Still no go. The way I'm using it is I go to Konqueror and put ftp://username@hostname. It asks for a password, then says it can't connect. I have similar problems with Kasablanca, I know to go in and disable passive but still no go.
Of course it's an MS server. I can get each of these programs to work for sites that use Apache.
Any ideas?
