There seems to be a shortage of documentation on how to create themes for KDM and I have looked at themes but the xml is still a bit confusing. I'm trying to mimic something that's in GDM that is not working on KDM so I am curious about how to create them. I don't seem to see anyone posting much on howto make themes just people posting them.

Why not just go to kde-look.org and join the forum and ask some of the artists there?
