    Change default file manager?

I'm new to Linux and Kubuntu, apologies ahead of time for any stupidness.

I'm not big on Konqueror.  I'd prefer to use a different file manager (not yet sure which one, but I've narrowed the list down considerably).  Is there a way to define a different default file manager that opens all drives, shortcuts to folders, etc.?

right click and select open with and choose your favorite file manager.
don't forget to click the "Remember application association for this file type" check box

    Have you already seen Krusader?

I have seen Krusader. It's one of the two finalists.

As to your method, it doesn't seem to work permanantly. It will open in Krusader once, but even with the "remember association" box checked, it won't open in Krusader next time I try it, it'll open in Konqueror.

        *Bump*

Anyone know how to change the default file manager for ever and always?
