Okay, that I have to understand...
Since now, I was able to make Jpilot sync with my palm T5.
I occasionnaly had to reset the TTy adress just because it was so funny for my system to change it each time I plug the cable, but aside for that it worked fine.
Now, each time I try to connect the cable I get the following message:
[17192179.808000] usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 37
[17192180.216000] usb 2-1: device not accepting address 37, error -110
and after trying till I vomit, get the following error message:
[17192142.780000] hub 2-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 1. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
Now, I know that the cable is not bad. Aside from the fact I get that messag each time I try and with all of the cables. I checked them on other systems and they are fine.
The point is that the system refuses to recognize the palm anymore.
I don't know if it is related, but I think it started when another strange phenomenon started . I have a USB card reader and all of sudden it mounts cards with user: capricorn group: root
I made myself into the group root, but sometimes, the system, simply refuses me acces to the card in write and, on top of that, refuses access even to root.
Any ideas?
