resume from suspend?

I kinda got suspend working but now my laptop wont turn back on properly when i want it too.

How do i get it to come back from suspend just hit a key?

On my laptop, sometimes pressing a key does not work, some other times it works. What always works is pushing the power button.
I don't know if I helped.
