KDE 3.5.5 and volume names under device icons

So I updgrade to KDE 3.5.5 this evening. All seems well (USB drives mount fine) except for I'm no longer seeing volume names under the device icons for my optical drives on the Desktop.

A picture speaks n all that, so if you look at the attached, that's what I have now. I have the same two discs in the drives that I had before I updated. Under 3.5.4 it read 'Red Dwarf' where it now says 'cdrom0' and where it now says 'dvdrecorder' it used to say 'things for mike'.

Anyone know how I get the volume names back?

The same here, isn't there any setting that would take care of this? I liked the names of the mounted discs better, now it just reads "cdrom".
