I downloaded "GoogleEarthLinux.bin" from google's website and followed their instructions to install it from the console (while in the download directory) with the command "> sh GoogleEarthLinux.bin" but I keep getting the error message "GoogleEarthLinux.bin: command not found" Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I have tried a few variations of the command and used "sudo" to no avail. Google help was no help, they just sent a generic message referring me to the help faq's I'd already tried. I suspect it may be something really simple that I have overlooked.

Try typing ./ before the name of the command? (Also lose the opening > if you're explicitly typing that.)

Thanks for the help. The ./ suggetion did not work, I had actually tried this before I posted, but I was able to find Google Earth in the repos and installed it that way. (Should have thought to look there 1st ... makes me feel kind of stupid that I didn't
)
