Still broken packages and 3 of the mirrors are closed now (at least for me). Hopefully they will fix this soon cause my desktop is all messed up :-(.

Kmail, Kaddressbook, Karm and several else won't install due to alot of libpackages with a lower version number.

I don't know if this says that much to you as i sit with a Swedish speaking KDE.

All went well except one package knetwork.

I just attempted upgrading with adept and it stopped about half way through configuring the packages and told me there was an error with a package which would break dependencies and then quit

i noticed KDM asked for some input so i ran dpkg --configure -a and told it the option it needed (to replace the kdmrc file) and ran adept again and it said no upgrades were found

just hope it actually went through it all!

What packages are broken?

I saw that it's missing kopete and so kdenetwork is not installable because of false dependencies. Kopete is one of the improvement of this version so it's very strange that thos peculiar package is missing.

For other problem, the search bar in konqueror is missing, very anoying. So don't install this update!

The latest kopete seems to be missing from the dapper 3.5.5 repository, but you can upgrade the rest of 3.5.5 if you've installed earlier kopete 3.5.4/0.12.2 from dapper-backports...at least the upgrade went through without a hitch on my dapper installation.

For other problem, the search bar in konqueror is missing, very anoying.

You should get that back easily, try going to 'Konqueror>Settings>Configure Extensions' and Enable 'Search Bar Plugin'

I had no problem with the kopete upgrade. knetwork is still messed up but i use wireless assistant because it never worked for me anyway.
