    Kmail, GnuPG Encryption and Linefeeds

    Hi,

I've got the most troublesome problem, which I simply can't find the answer for in google.

When sending mail via Kmail which contains linefeeds, M$ email clients are able to read the linefeeds correctly.

However, once I send it as Encrypted (GnuGP), the decrypted text shows as one line and line feeds show up as funny characters in M$.

I know that there is a differance between the "Linux" linefeed and the "windows" linefeed, But how would one fix it in this instance?

    I'm running the following:

    Kubuntu Dapper
    Kmail 1.9.1
    GnuPG 1.4.2.2

    PLEASE HELP!

As you probably know, M$ uses a two character CRLF newline corresponding to 0x0A 0x0D, whereas all unices (including Linux) use only a linefeed character. There have probably been at least 50,00 unix2d os and dos2unix programs written to perform that conversion. I've done it myself several times in different languages. I'd pass my messages through one of them before encryption.
