    Wine tweeking

Is it possible to add different Windows DLLs to make certain games work like halo?

I think it is... Try copying the DLLs to your Wine install's windows\system32 folder, and then adding their names (minus the .dll) to the overrides list in the Libraries tab of winecfg.

Back in the version of Wine in the official Kubuntu repository, there was no real DirectX support, so you could install DX through Wine and it would (mostly) work. Then about four months ago, they switched over to the incomplete Wine DirectX rewrite, which doesn't work.

The easiest way to see if a game works is to check out the wine application database
