I've been trying to figure this out for myself, but I've given up.
I have the menus on my system set to display using the Arial font at a size of 8pt.
The menus on Konqueror display this font size correctly.
Also, when Konqueror is being used as a file manager, it displays all text in the Font Manager view as 8pt Arial -- and the size matches the font size of the menus perfectly.
BUT, when I use Konqueror to look at one of my own websites -- a website that I KNOW uses Arial 8pt text in some of the areas (I know because I created the stylesheet) -- the text is actually displayed *smaller*.
It doesn't match the size of the text on the Konqueror menus, which is supposed to be the same font, same size. For some reason, when Konqeuror renders web sites it is calculating font sizes differently, and I have no idea why.
Does anyone else know why it does this?
