New icon theme

Hello I come from suse..

I want to install a new icon theme.. In suse I was moving the icon folder in the path /opt/kde3/share/icons and then I could see it through kcontrol. But kubuntu seems to have a different system which I can't understand. I can't find a certain folder to move my icon folder..

Any ideas;;

Sorry for the delay. /usr/share/icons, if you haven't found it yet.
