I did an upgrade tonight, which I noticed included an upgrade of the kernel from 2.6.15-26 to 2.6.15-27 amongst others. Afterwards vmplayer didn't work and the error message I got was the following:
hans@athlon2500:~$ vmplayer /home/hans/vm-winXP/winXP.vmx
/usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmplayer: /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libpng12.so.0/libpng12.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libcairo.so.2)
kde-config: /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libpng12.so.0/libpng12.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3)
kde-config: /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libpng12.so.0/libpng12.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3)
Anyone an idea how to go about this? I reinstalled vmplayer already, but to no avail. Greetings,
Hans
