accessing Amazon

Just tried to go to amazon. As soon as their webpage comes it it is displaced by the following in the URL window:

et/adi/amazon.pilot/;type=inv_pixel;sz1x1;ord=45?

and nothing.(the tab says "click here to find out more!" but there is no "more")

In Firefox, if I attempt to play a 30 second sample of a CD the Mplayer comes up and changes instantly to "stopped"

Opera will not play the sample either.
Do I have some virus?

Just downloaded the updates.(From kubuntu)
Restarted comp and now Firefox (Mplayer) will play the Windows Media "listen" samples; but the Real still have Mplayer switching to "stopped"

Personally, I found that Real Media stuff worked much better with VLC than with other players, but that was while I was running Breezy, so things may have changed.
