Is there a way to make kmplayer the default player for DVDs? I want to be able to right-click on the DVD (on my desktop) and select "Play DVD with Kmplayer". Kaffeine is currently the default but its not very stable. I've had crash problems with kaffeine and no one on these forums has a clue why?

Right click on the desktop. Click "Run Command" Enter "kcontrol". You will see the standard (non-Kubuntu) Kcontrol dipslay. Click on the plus next to "KDE Components". Click on "File Associations". Click on the plus sign next to "video". Choose a file type. Move Kmplayer up from last to first.
