For some reason some pdf's have horrible almost unreadable text, one example of this is the blenderArt magazines.

Re: KPDF fonts not antialiased?
It looks fine to me in Kpdf. Which PDF viewer are you using? If you're running an i386 box your choices are Adobe Acrobat, Kpdf, and Xpdf. I would try them all and what works best. Also, have you checked your settings in "System Settings">Appearance>Fonts>"use antialiasing">configure ?
