    libGL error

After the fglrx driver worked I updated the kernel and now I got this

    libGL error: XF86DRIQueryDirectRenderingCapable returned false
    libGL error: XF86DRIQueryDirectRenderingCapable returned false
    display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
    OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.4.1)

Does anyone know what the first line indicates

I tried to reinstall the drivers but still.....

    Re: libGL error

Sorry for the belated reply. The message means that the Xserver, the program that writes things to your screen, queried the software that communicates with your hardware and found that it did not have support for Direct Rendering. I suspect that you need to install the package "linux-restricted-modules-<your-kernel>", where <your-kernel> stands for the output of the konsole command "uname -r". Frankly, I'm surprised. If you had the (K)Ubuntu version of the fglrx driver installed before, it should have been updated automatically when you updated the kernel.
