    Clock keeps resetting itself

Our clock in Kubuntu keeps resetting itself. We have our clock set a few minutes fast; however, it keeps defaulting back to actual time. We do not have the clock set to update automatically.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Clock keeps resetting itself

Only guessing - but on my (virtual) machine, grep -ri 'ntpdate' /etc lists serveral assumed calls to reset the system's clock (and only the cron job has been added by me, all others have been "placed" by default ...). Maybe a look at the /var/log/syslog protocol could be of some help - "silent" calls should be logged to this file ...
