I can no longer gain access to any procedure that required "root" access.
For example, If I go to Adept to update I am told that I have entered an incorrect password (which I haven't and I am using the first user account that was set up). When I re-enter the password I get a message that says Conversation with su failed.
If a I try and run a program via sudo, for example, sudo nano /etc/fstab I am asked to enter the password, which I do. Then I am returned to the command prompt - and that's it.
Basically I can no longer gain access to anything that requires sudo access.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
