    Help with openoffice

    I have a post at the OOo forums but its kind of slow over there. I have a power point file that won't open with impress. Since I don't do windows OOo is really my only choice. The webmaster of the site I got the file from says he opened it in OOo1.1.15. So why won't 2.0 open it?? I am running Kdapper amd64.

    Is there any more info you can provide. Do you receive an error ?

      Nope, no errors. I click on file, the open with... dialog comes up and I choose OOo presentations, then the ASCII filter options comes up with unicode(utf-8) and I press ok. Then nothing. Grey window with title bar, that is it.

        What is the name of the file you are openinf including file extension. My guess is that it is not a power point file (.pps)
