Is there any good graphic editors for linux?

I know there gimp.. I don't really like it..

Any one else using some thing else beside Gimp?

Krita (for painting & image editing), Karbon14 (for scalable graphics). Both are installed if you install KOffice from the repositories...

I think you would have to categorize the available programs so make some things clear:

The GIMP/Gimpshop, Krita, Kolourpaint, and TuxPaint are bitmap or raster image editing programs, similar to Photoshop and MS Paint.

Karbon14 (bleh :P), Inkscape and Xara Xtreme (formerly Xara LX) are vector graphics programs, similar to Illustrator.

One type of program may have features found on another type of program, but basically the distinctions remain the same.
