    Flashplugin-nonfree problems (FIXED)

A couple of days ago the update notifier had a couple of updates. One of them was for flashplugin-nonfree. The updater froze and I had to kill it. Afterwards it was locked, but dpkg --configure -a fixed it and synaptic and adept work fine; exept I can't get the flashplugin to download/install, even using apt-get. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Josh

This is what I get using the console

    :~$ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

Me too - exactly the same - there is obviously some error with the package and I expect it'll be fixed in the repository before too long so don't worry

Thanks. That's actually kinda reassuring. I can do without flash for a few days, as long as my kubuntu isn't broken.

A search would have reassured you a lot quicker ...there are some 4-5 threads describing the problem and a workaround.

And as Jucato has now pointed out, the fixed package has been released.
