    Problem installing Unison - conflict

Trying to install Unison - the file synchronization application. If I fire up Adept and search for Unison, I get four options, none of which are installed. It doesn't matter which ones I select for installation, it tells me there is a conflict with another version of Unison which is not installed! HELP! How do i get round this?
How can there be a conflict with a package that is a) not listed in Adept, and b) isn't installed?

I assume you have the universe repos enabled. What does
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install unison
    tell you?
(type the code in a konsole.)
