Creating PDF files

I have Dapper installed but have trouble setting up a PDF sudo printer. Any suggestions?

If you've installed OpenOffice.org, it will export any file directly to .pdf format.

And if you haven't installed it, what are you waiting for?

All joking aside, I use OpenOffice.org all the time for outputting to .pdf files. I find that they appear as they should, regardless of platform; that is, I've created them under Linux, then viewed them with Adobe Reader under Windows, Mac OS, and on my Palm Pilot.
