Is there a DVD ripper available for Kubuntu, Dapper Drake? If so, how may I get it? Thanks

I think K3B has the option to do it, it converts to mpeg... if it will do it with copy protected cds is another issue. -

if you are looking for a DVDshrink type of app, k9copy does a great job... there is also ldvd...
if you are looking to rip to avi, dvd:rip, acidrip are options...Comment

I was used to Autogk on Windows. Unfortunately, you won't find anything quite like that for Linux (yet). I tried all of them I could find and settled on Acidrip. I would recommend that as your first choice.Comment
