Does anyone know if the PLF repos are still being updated? Just wondering as I thought I read they had shut down.

Well - we could try debian repos.
One example:
Cerkinfo Debian Repository
http://apt.cerkinfo.be/
BUT
These packages are build (and sometimes tested on a Debian sid/unstable system. It probably won't work with Ubuntu. Ubuntu is not Debian, it's now a completely different distribution.Before you edit, BACKUP !
