install new screensavers?

can someone tell me how to install new screensavers? i don't mean like building them, i'm making my own but have no idea were to put them...

The *.kss files go in "/usr/bin/". I believe image files go in "/usr/share/apps/kscreensaver/" and the *.desktop files go in "/usr/share/applnk/System/ScreenSavers/". How do you make your own screensaver? What is actually in a *.kss file and how do you compile one?
