Me personally, since I wouldn't get MythTV from a repo because of the delicate nature with drivers. I would compile it from source. You can get the source code here: http://mythtv.org/modules.php?name=D...download&cid=1

I understand its better to compile myth-tv. But what I'm asking is what is wrong with my sources.list that I don't see the packages like other people do?

Nothing is wrong with your sources.list. In fact, you have a decent setup. Myth just isn't available on any of those repo's if you can't find it. Just like you have a repo for Automatix. Without that repo enable, you wouldn't be able to get Automatix from the other repo's you have listed. Same goes for MythTV. Check over on the Ubuntu forums. Maybe someone has a repo or a precompiled .deb package available.

Hi,
it shows o.k. in mine the only thing I can suggest is to add multiverse to all the lines containing universe.
