    Cups and printing on dapper

    Hi guys

    Everything about network printing was fine on my kubuntu. Recently i have no idea why, it stopped printing. Now all i get is something like this (regardless of the printer):

    -12345x2pjl set PAGEPROTECT=AUTO
    @PJL SET RESOLUTION=600
    (...)
    17hlasdfaegaebarebaedfvdsckvjaprugqerlvkqdanvwerv (...)

    I've tried to reinstall cups and to install the SVN version but nothing works. I guess this is coming out of some package upgrade i made (official one).

    Does anyone have an idea?

    thanks...

      yes i did try to reinstall the printer...

      actually i found out that during startup cups would log that it couldn't access some folders because of some lack of permissions. I did manage to eliminate that by upgrading some packages that i found available on adept.

      but... the problem persists and it's getting really bad as i have to move to another computer everytime i need to print...

      i've tried Edgy knot2 and it's working... so.. there goes the idea that it's a network problem...

      help? please?
