3 Apept Program Manager Questions

When I bring up Adept and clink on 'help' and then
select Apept Manager Handbook, nothing happens.
This is a new installation, so I'm guessing there
is an installation problem. When I select 'help' on
other applications, the documention comes up
as expected.

Q1: Are there and suggestions on how to fix this,
and if not, is there an alternate place to go for
the documentation?

My next 2 questions are regarding the /etc/apt/sources.list file.

Q2: If a package appears
in more than one repostory identified in the
sources.list file, will the package be pulled from
the first or the last repository?

I add some repositories to the sources.list
file. I quit from Adept and restart it. Both before
and after the restart there were 1378 packages
available. I expected the number to increase
when I added the new repositories.

Q3: If I added new repositories, shouldn't the
number of available packages go up?

yea, the number should go up...
that is a mighty small number...
i have 19000+ and thats with about half of my previous list.

i have 1559 installed. maybe thats what you are talking about.

No, 1378 is the available number. I have 969 installed.

I guess the big question now is how to get that
number increased. I think adding repositories to
the sources.list file would do that trick, but that
is not working

I restarted Adept again today and the number
of available packages went up to 18,000+. So,
that problem is solved.

I'm guessing that I edited the sources.list file
and forgot to save it.
