ok. i just upgraded from kde 3.5.3 to *.4 to get the newer kopete, however now, the fonts don't seem as "clean" as they were in previous kde versions. is there a fix for this?

Kopete has its own settings for its Fonts, if that's what you're looking for. Settings > Configure > Appearance options > Colors and Fonts.

i didn't make it to clear, but i mean just system fonts. i fixed it w/a few reboots and messing w/the anti-aliasing fonts...
