Unable to stream with Dapper

HI! I just did a fresh install of Dapper. Doesn't matter whether using Kaffeine or AmaroK or XMMS, I am unable to access any streaming.

I can play audio/video files just fine an the audio works. I just cannot get it to stream. It shows that it is starts the buffer download but then timeouts too soon to play. In both Kaffeine and AmaroK it is able to collect the playlists and channels and actual track that is playing. It just cannot stay connected to the stream.
I have tried SomaFM, Shoutcast, direct radio stations...No luck.

I did this fresh install after a previous attempt to upgrade from Breezy. Even after that upgrade, audio streaming worked just fine.

I need some help here, please.

Codec problem maybe? I took a vanilla dapper install, installed the multimedia stuff with Automatix and did nothing else at all (except disable my on board sound so my SBlive would work) and have had no problem streaming - just checked - clicked on a somafm stream and it opened perfectly in XMMS. I usually stream Last FM from Amarok which again worked fine post Automatix

Totally rad... That worked great! Everything is sounding (pun intended) fine.
