SELinux-policy-default is not listed as a requirement for the 3dchess package and, in fact, I was able to install it without having selinux-policy-default installed. Is the selinux-policy-derfault problem a leftover from a previous failed installation of something else that does require selinux-policy-default?

In any event, I suspect that your 3dchess is actually installed. Try it and see.

In order to get rid of the broken selinux-policy-default package, you can try the konsole command "sudo dpkg --configure -a" (note the 2 hyphens and then the one).
