NX Server access from Windows machine

Hey all. I've been trying to get an nx server running on my kubuntu box for connecting from my Windows machines on my LAN and vice versa, but I can't seem to get it working by any guide I've tried.

I tried installing Freenx and connecting to it from my Windows machine using the NX Client (1.5 and 2.0, both do the same thing), but all I get is the error:

    NX> 203 NXSSH running with pid: 5416
NX> 285 Enabling check on switch command
NX> 285 Enabling skip of SSH config files
    NX> 200 Connected to address: 192.168.1.102 on port: 8888
Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer

These are the directions I tried to follow:

    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FreeNX

Basically, I want to use NX to replace x11vnc. Thanks for any help!
