language-selector-qt with incorrect dependency?

I've just had and install of kubuntu-desktop on a happily running ubuntu installation fail complaining
that language-selector-qt was pointing at a older version of language-selector-common than was now present in the repos. Everthing was apt-get updated prior to the install.

Has anyone else run across this?

There was a upstream version of this with a higher version number which I found by googling.
When I installed this, I was able to apt-get install kubuntu desktop.
